Free IELTS Speaking Practice and Pro Mock Tests: What Is Included?

You can use IELTSpeaking's public topics, model answers, guides, timer and browser recorder for free. The recorder supports playback and self-review; it does not give an AI band score.

The full realtime web mock test is a Pro feature. It requires Apple sign-in and an active membership purchased through the iPhone app with the same Apple account. The app is free to download, with in-app purchases; any trial or included usage must be checked in the current offer.

Run a free self-directed practice test

Choose questions from Parts 1, 2 and 3. Use a timer and record continuous answers. Give yourself one minute to prepare Part 2 and speak for up to two minutes. Keep notes only for that preparation stage.

Review the recording against the public criteria. This is self-assessment, not automated marking. You can still identify useful changes without assigning yourself a number.

Check access before starting a realtime mock

Read the access table on the pricing page before signing in. The realtime web test requires Pro. Subscribe in the iPhone app, sign into both with the same Apple account, and use a compatible browser with microphone permission.

A computer browser can open the web test, but that does not create a separate free account or a native Android app. If you cannot use the subscription route, you can continue using the public practice resources.

Inspect the report before paying for feedback

The public sample report shows the feedback format and a worked language correction. It is a prepared illustration, not a real candidate's scored recording or evidence of scoring accuracy.

For your own test, look for a four-criterion breakdown and comments you can check against your answers. Verify the transcript before accepting a grammar correction, and use audio evidence for fluency and pronunciation.

Keep an AI estimate in perspective

An AI score is a practice estimate. It can differ from a human examiner because of audio quality, transcription, the questions attempted and scoring design. A full mock is useful practice, but it does not issue an official result or guarantee improvement.
