What is the view like around the place where you live?
I live in a small suburb. The view from my window is mostly houses and a few trees. On clear days you can see some hills in the distance. It's nice but not very dramatic.
I live on the edge of a town, so my view mixes rooftops with a green park and a river beyond. In the morning there's often a light mist over the water, and in the evening the streetlights look quite pretty. It's peaceful and I enjoy the changing seasons.
I live on the fifth floor of a low block that overlooks a wide green belt and a meandering river. The vista is largely unobstructed, so I get long views of the skyline at sunset and the shift in colours as the seasons change. It's calming and makes the apartment feel more spacious.

Would you take photos when you see a good view?
Yes, I usually take a photo when I see a good view. I like to keep the picture and show friends. Sometimes I forget, but often I take one.
Most of the time I take photos of a good view, partly to remember it and partly to share with friends. But I try not to spend the whole time behind a screen — I take a few shots and then enjoy the moment.
Generally I do take photographs, but selectively. I'll capture a few well-composed shots to preserve the memory, then put my camera away so I can be present. For me, photos are memory aids rather than a substitute for actually experiencing the place.

My favourite place is a small lake near my town. I go there at the weekend. It's quiet and I can walk or sit and relax. I like it because it's peaceful.
