How often do you eat fruit and vegetables?
I eat fruit and vegetables most days, probably every day. I usually have fruit with breakfast and vegetables at dinner. Sometimes I skip them if I'm busy, but generally I try to eat them.
I try to eat fruit and veg every day. Typically I have fruit at breakfast or as a snack, and I include some vegetables with my main meals. On very busy days I might miss a portion, but it's part of my routine.

What kind of fruits and vegetables do you dislike?
I don't really like very bitter vegetables like brussels sprouts and raw kale. I also don't like papaya — the taste and smell put me off.
I'm not fond of very bitter greens such as brussels sprouts unless they're well cooked. I'm also not keen on papaya because of its soft texture and unusual flavour when it's ripe.
I tend to avoid intensely bitter brassicas, especially if they're overcooked and soggy — that bitterness is off-putting. I'm also not a fan of papaya, mainly because of its mushy texture and the way it can taste overly sweet and perfumed.
Were there any kind of fruits and vegetables you disliked as a child?
Yes. As a child I hated broccoli and peas. My mum would hide them in my food. Now I can eat peas but I still don't like broccoli much.
When I was a child I refused to eat broccoli and peas — I remember hiding peas under my napkin. Over time my tastes changed and now I eat peas without problems, though broccoli took longer to like.
Definitely — I used to detest broccoli and Brussels sprouts and would push them around my plate. Gradually, as I tried them in different ways (roasted or with a sauce), I came to appreciate them. Childhood aversions do often soften with exposure.
Do people in your country like planting vegetables?
Some people like planting vegetables, especially in villages or gardens. But many people live in flats, so they buy vegetables from shops. A few grow herbs on their windowsill.
There is growing interest in growing veg — allotments and community gardens are quite popular, and many urban residents grow herbs or salad leaves in balcony boxes. Still, a lot of people buy their veg from supermarkets.
Yes, vegetable growing is increasingly popular: traditional allotments remain common, while community gardens and container gardening on balconies have grown among city dwellers keen on sustainability and fresh produce. Limited space, however, means many still rely on shops.
