Not all the time, no. Teachers can't watch every child every minute, especially in big schools. But they should supervise during lessons and playtimes and notice signs of trouble. It's about balancing keeping children safe and giving them some freedom to learn.

Teachers shouldn't monitor children constantly, but they do need good situational awareness. In classrooms and playgrounds they should scan the room, set clear rules and be alert to bullying or accidents. It isn't realistic or healthy for teachers to know precisely what every child is doing at all times. This protects welfare but also fosters autonomy; children need supervised opportunities to make choices and learn from minor mistakes under a supportive framework.

Sometimes teachers can tell when a child is unhappy — they might look sad or stop talking. But not always, because some children hide their feelings. Teachers try to watch for changes in behaviour and ask parents for help.

Often teachers can identify unhappy pupils because they notice shifts in mood, falling grades or withdrawn behaviour. However, subtle issues like anxiety or family stress can be missed, especially in large classes. Regular one-to-one chats and contact with parents help teachers spot problems earlier.

Teachers are in a good position to spot many signs of unhappiness — attendance drops, declining work, social withdrawal or irritability are red flags. Yet detection isn't foolproof: internalising problems such as anxiety or low self-esteem can be concealed. Schools that train staff in mental-health literacy and create safe channels for disclosure are much better at early identification and intervention.

Arts like music, dance and painting make people feel happy. Community events, concerts and shows bring people together and lift spirits. Even a colourful mural can make a street look nicer.

When arts programmes are accessible, they can strengthen social bonds and promote wellbeing across communities.

People are often happiest when they're with friends or family, or when they do things they enjoy. Small moments, like a nice meal or a sunny day, can make people happy.

Happiness often comes from a mix of relationships, meaningful work and health. Big life events like weddings or the birth of a child bring joy, but everyday routines — exercising, hobbies and good social contact — create steady happiness.

People tend to be happiest when their basic needs are met and they have purpose, strong relationships and autonomy. While milestones such as promotions or family events produce spikes of happiness, long-term contentment comes from daily routines, gratitude and engaging pursuits that align with personal values.

A student is happy when lessons are fun and friendly teachers help them. Having friends, interesting activities and feeling safe at school makes students happy.

Enjoyable lessons, supportive teachers and a sense of belonging are key. Extra-curricular clubs, constructive feedback and chances to succeed academically or socially also boost happiness. For instance, a student doing well in a sports club will feel proud and included.

Students thrive when the school environment supports competence, relatedness and autonomy — in other words clear teaching, positive peer relationships and meaningful choices. Well-structured lessons, recognition for effort rather than only results, and inclusive clubs where different talents are valued contribute strongly to pupil wellbeing.

Yes, I think liking your job is important because you spend a lot of time working. But money and family are also important, so it's not the only thing.

I’d say enjoying your work matters a great deal because it affects daily mood and long-term health. However, other factors like income, flexible hours and family time are also crucial. Ideally people find a balance where the job is fulfilling but also supports other priorities.

Doing a job you enjoy is hugely important, as it contributes to identity, purpose and daily satisfaction. Nevertheless, it's only one pillar of a good life. Economic stability, health and relationships are equally vital. The ideal is meaningful work that offers adequate pay and time for personal life — otherwise job satisfaction alone may not sustain overall wellbeing.
