I prefer typing most of the time because it's quicker and easier to edit. I handwrite sometimes, for example when I'm making quick notes or drawing diagrams. But for essays and emails I usually type.

I generally prefer typing because it's faster and makes editing straightforward — you can cut, paste and correct mistakes in seconds. However, I do still handwrite when I want to wake up my memory or be creative, like sketching ideas or making mind maps, because handwriting feels more personal and helps me remember things better.

I type on a laptop keyboard every day because I take my laptop with me. Sometimes at home I use a desktop, but most days it's the laptop.

I type on a laptop most days because I need the portability for work and study, although I use a desktop with a full-size keyboard when I'm at home for longer sessions or gaming. The laptop is more convenient, but the desktop is often more comfortable from an ergonomics point of view.

I learned to type at school when I was a child. We had some lessons and I practised on a computer. Later I just learned more by using a keyboard all the time.

I started learning to type around the age of eleven in school lessons where we were taught touch-typing basics, and then improved by practising at home. After that I did a lot of self-directed practice with online exercises and typing games, which helped me build speed and accuracy.

I improve my typing by practising regularly. I do online typing tests and try to type faster. I also watch my mistakes and try not to look at the keyboard.

I try to improve through short, daily practice sessions that focus on accuracy before speed — for example timed tests and targeted exercises for troublesome keys. I also pay attention to posture and use keyboard shortcuts to become more efficient, and I deliberately slow down when learning a new pattern so my fingers develop the right muscle memory.
