My favourite animal is the dog. I like dogs because they are friendly and loyal. I grew up with a family dog and we used to walk together in the park. Dogs are easy to play with and they make you feel happy. I also like that they can learn tricks and keep company.

I'd say dogs are my favourite animals. They are not only affectionate but also very attuned to people's moods, so they make great companions when you're stressed or lonely.
