Did you enjoy traveling by car when you were a kid?

Band 6 model

Yes, I did. When I was a child my family often went on short trips by car. I enjoyed looking out of the window and watching the countryside go by. Sometimes we played simple games or sang songs. I got bored sometimes on very long drives, but mostly it was fun.

Speaking criteria note: The Band 7 answer gives richer, specific detail and personal reflection, using varied vocabulary and linking ideas smoothly.

How to improve this answer

Give a real past example, then say what changed or why it mattered.

Answer directly in the first sentence, add one personal reason or detail, and stop naturally after two or three connected sentences.
